Default Roller rockers

I just got new pistons, cylinders and cams for my 88 v twin. I'm going to a 95 with S&S 570 gear drive cams.
I will also redo the heads with 1.96 intake valves and 1.6 exhaust valve with new springs.
I will also be using scream'in eagle tapered push rods.
I am thinking about adding roller rockers, but have a few questions.
Is there really an advantage to adding roller rockers to my build?
Will there be added noise to the upper end of the engine.
Where would you recommend getting them from?

Thanks.

Your heavier valve springs will add some top end noise, regardless of which rockers you use.

Also, why so big on the valves? Might be giving away some low end torque.

Not going to comment on the "is there an advantage" question. I've never ran them but would consider it if I were looking to change the lift ratio.

running roller rockers may let your valve guides live alittle longer. the cam size is on the threshold of seriously needing them.

I run a .575 lift with the OE rockers, no issues here.

You may as well pop 'em in. They reduce the loads on the valve train by removing the side load and frictional forces on the top of the valve stem .

Before you waste money on that valve work, call S&S and ask them what size intake/exhaust those cams were designed for. If you do that work needlessly you will lose power.

Also, depends how much horsepower/tq you expect to make with this build and if the stockers can handle it. If not, then add some performance rockers.

Also, you could modify the amount of lift the cams have by changing rockers. Stock is approx 1.625:1.

I have talked to them as well as others. I have been planning on this build for two years. I'm slow to move because I do not want to wast time and money.
I have been told there might be some upper engine noise, and I was thinking maybe some brands are better than others.

I hope if I do the roller rockers I will be happy with them.

I'm having the heads done in Oregon, and was told I will have more than 100hp.
That does sound good to me.
