I think every town in the country named Sturgis is cashing in on it.This is actually a pretty big one with big name bands.3 days of it,but damn it's hot.

 

You got that right...man last year it was some kinda hot!! They should have it in Oct/Nov...just sayin'

That's about the sorriest "motorcycle" rally around. Save your money and time. It's turned into basically a "politically correct" street fair with horrible automobile "cruising" traffic with kids in the back of pickup trucks, etc. Even had a carnival this year. The headliners are invariably has-been country bands. Featured this year was a guy who was singer for Bad Company 25 years ago for several years, not Bad Company as a lot of people thought who apparently don't read really well. Maybe you like it, i think it sucks.

 

Well when you dont have money to go to the real sturgis and sturgis MS is 30 mins from you, you settle for it right, It isnt all about the bikes to me or the bands, I dont waste the 40 bucks to listen to sucky ppl, I go to be with all my biker buddys and to have a good time, yes they could do a little changing and def get those stupid ppl my age off the road in there trucks. We told abunch of those trucks to go buy and motorcycle and then they could ride...
