That's way too dangerous. I've seen folks weave and slam on their brakes for crap like that. Maybe you'd feel ok riding next to someone who see's that at the last moment, or even be the one that is startled by it. At least speed bumps don't make people swerve at the last moment.

I was in Edmonton for several month in spring of 07. A car went over what appeared to be a small hole only to find that the rest of the asphalt buckled beneath it and the car fell into the hole.

The last time I was in Canada , I noticed that instead of fixing the pothole...
they put a Red Flag on the side of the road to warn you..It took me a couple of good Jolts to figure that one out..

they ignore the big holes (?) around here, and put signs on small bumps. really. I go to Maine to ride better roads when I can.
