The state taxes the **** out of it here, too. $4.50 is about standard here, too.

I quit drinkin' some 30 years ago and never smoked. That's how I paid for all my toys - currently a Roush 428R Mustang, Corvette, Lifted F250 diesel and my bike and the 85-90 some cars and trucks I've owned over the years.

If you have to drink to have a good time then what you are doing must not be that much fun for you.
You will always get ripped off if you don't say no.
Movies, sports events, concerts, people get ripped off because they can't go without two to three hours without drinking or eating.
Go to a bar enjoy the atmosphere have A beer. Then go back to your room, campsite camp fire, hang out with friends and drink your own stuff.
Let Hamster's and the RUB's pay through the nose.

Those prices seemed the same as 08 and I found that most places served the 16 oz aluminum bottles. Not bad considering..............
Go to Walt Disney World in Orlando and check out their beer prices!

I got wrecked in Minnesota on my way to Sturgis. 2009 Street Glide is sitting in some scrapyard and I'm changing my dressings daily. I would have gladly paid twice that amount to just make it to Sturgis, drink some beer, and take in the sights and rides again! Guess it all comes down to perspective...
