I give the dealer little $$$, just for immediate need items. Like the guy above, I buy my stuff on line, used if possible. And unless I get a big inheritance, I'll never buy a new bike. Way too many highly accessorized bikes for sale that guys bought, put everything on, and never rode.
But to each their own.
Peace.

@ rpbrown and Joboo1966...you are speaking my language :-) I am not trying to complain against the dealer...just makeing an observation on women :-) I am lucky that my wife loves the bike and wants to customize it. I think she has more fun than me at the dealer.
As for the dealer...I am a IT geek, not mechanicly incliend so I trust the dealer for what is right...and as certain as that can be a mistake, its in writening at least so I can hold them accoutnable...
...and at least I did what I could on the bike!...New mirrors, new battery cover, new heal rests...new fuel gauge, etc, basic stuff i cant F'up. I call on the dealer for the things you wont do on your PC that you would call me for :-)

Every one loves a bargin, but its only a bargin if you need the item, I try to stay away from the dealers as much as possible but my bike has some kind of warp drive and seem's to get drawn in that direction, its such a fight. One thing I never take the wife,......she know's her way there herself.....bummer.

Yeah, that's female logic for you. I came home a few months ago with a new Road King and said "but honey, I saved $2000". She wasn't amused....
