Hoka Hey Route Directions.
If anyone reading this would like to experience a little of the Hoka Hey for themselves…..Here’s your chance!
What follows are some photo’s that I have taken of the routes that were given to us at each checkpoint. I apologize in advance for the poor quality of the pictures but one thing I’m not is a good photographer.
Each set of directions will have the starting and ending points and you can try to figure out where along the route you might be able to pick it up if it indeed goes near you.
The rules you must follow are very simple.
(1) Stick to the published route.
(2) If you do it as an overnight you must sleep on the ground with your bike.
(3) The use of GPS or any electronic means to assist you in navigating or locating gas is strictly prohibited including any outside source giving you that information via phone, text/email, smoke signals or anything else.
(4) Have Fun.

Good grief! It's no wonder so many got lost! I got tired just reading the directions!

IA, not sure if you covered this yet, but did you ride home from AK after the race? How many miles total?
