IA congrats making the whole challange + the extra miles. Thats more riding than most people do in a year. I got to tip my hat to you that is quite an accomplishment. If your ever in my area let me know and I'll buy you a beer.

I've been following the whole Hoka Hey thing since last year when IA first started posting about it. I would have loved to have done it myself. At first, I knew I wouldn't have been able to get the time off needed. But now, after reading all the accounts of the journey, I don't think I'd have had the stamina to do the whole ride in 2 weeks anyway. Some of the naysayers also almost had me swayed, but I was glad to see the winner got paid, and that most of the challengers' comments about the Hoka Hey were positive.

I appreciate you posting the directions; someday (when I have a couple months to spare) I'll ride from where I live in FL to Alaska, and it would be cool to follow the same route. Of course, there'd have to be hot showers and comfortable beds along the way.

And, IronAss, if you're ever back down in FL near the Tampa area, I'd also be glad to buy you a shitload of beer.

I would say that qualifies as simply amazing.
