Got great low end. Takes off so much quicker. I run at 3200 at 80 in 6th with the swap. The kit comes with a sprocket and new chain. You have to pull the primary cover, unbolt the compensator and the clutch basket, remove chain and compensator and install new parts in reverse order.

Is there anything that needs to be done to the ECM to accomodate the change?

I noticed when i got my 08 RK that I had to give it more than throttle to take off in first gear.If not it would bog down.I'm used to it now .I don't use the 6th speed much would rather have a 5sp.

I like 6th gear but I got a little more power to work with having a Stage 2 103",lol

Nope. You would lose the 6th gear light with the EVO 30 tooth, but the speedo would not need recalibrating. If you went with the Andrews 30 tooth tranny sprocket and new belt you would need the speedo recalibrated. If you went with the EVO 49 tooth ring gear you would also lose the 6th gear light.
