Angry How Much is that Ticket??????
The head of Finnish communications giant Nokia was ordered to pay a $103,000 fine for his speeding ticket in 2002. Officers pulled over Anssi Vanjoki on his cherry red Harley Davidson in Helsinki after he was clocked driving 47 mph in a 31-mph zone.
In Finland, traffic fines are also proportionate to an offender's crime and income level.

that's unbelievable... i don't care how much someone makes, under no circumstances should a speeding ticket cost anyone 100K+...

Works the same way in Germany....the fine schedule is based upon income.

Well, I guess there can be a downside to being uber-rich. I'm sure it was pocket change for that guy. Sounds crazy though!

I'm going to Finland to get RICH from speeding tickets
because: I'm so broke, if it cost 2 cents to take a crap, I couldn't even afford to FART!!

Default I like to see the uber rich take it up the 'you know what'
since you can be assured he has done it to others. Too often rich kids around here don't give a crap about the road rules since their daddies will always pay their fines.
