Love all the responses so far. Just wanted to tag it so I can read it more later.
A neighbor of my mom asked about a ride one time when the OL and I were over there and my OL just gave me "THE LOOK". I don't think the neighbor could have fit behind me on my UC anyway.

If your better half gets pissed with you because you gave someone else a innocent ride. I mean I would have told her for sure because you don’t want a friend blind siding her with I saw some chix on the back of your husband bike but beyond that what is the big deal. I’ve been married for 18 years and I know my wife would have no problem with it. Plus she has her own scoot and she doesn’t mind me pimping rides lol. Boobies in the back are great she gets it..

Hugh mistake having a wife. I wish they had good cheap rentals with low miles. No matter how good she looks--somewhere there is a man that is tired of her crap.

Different situations should lend different reactions. If my OM came home and told me the OP's story I would say "Cool...must have been very ego building to show off your bike to someone you knew a long time ago and she may go buy her own bike now"
If he came home and told me a story about being at a bar and SuzyQ was putting the moves on and he fell for it...I'd kick him in the ego!
It is what it is....and at this age, I can certainly tell the difference between respect and just plain ol fun and showing off.
Its interesting to read all the different responses! Some make me very appreciative of the relatonship I have! Gawd...I suppose I have to TELL him that now!!
