What transmission bearing failure....

it's not what i think. the main shaft bearing is in my shop. IT"S JUNK. so i say hopefully u don't own 07,08, 6 speed. then u have nothing to worry about. but if u do and u hear some odd noise coming from yur primary case, then i say welcome to the club and the problem. i take extremely good care/ maintenance of my bike. 25.000 miles bearing failure thats sad.

Noise from primary
What does this sound like?
I had a noise early this spring coming back from the outer banks, I was two up, bike was loaded and I was pushing it hard because of a approaching storm. The noise went away after the bike cooled down. And I have not heard it since. But I haven't run it that hard two up and loaded either.

Rare occurance. Anything mechanical can break. Don't lug it. Donny said it's the worst thing you can do to the six speed. 07 with almost 30,000 and smooth as glass with no noise.
