Which way will this go?
Threads go one of two ways...they either trundle along with dull but workmanlike responses to queries about HD issues, or they explode with a flurry of posturing and acrimonious exchanges about the various rights we believe we're entitled to........so here goes..
Has anyone tampered with their exhaust system in order to annoy the neighbours ...and if so did you avoid injury from them through wearing a FF helmet?

I tried to avoid the injury by wearing my FF. It didn't work. I couldn't see or hear my neighbor coming. When I did the weight of the FF slowed my reactions. When my neighbor yanked me off my bike and threw me to the ground my neck snapped from the whiplash caused by the FF.

This reminds me something. Used to have an R6 and FF helmet. My daughters ex-boyfriend was harassing her on the phone so I jumped on the bike to confront him and put an end to it. He did the smart thing and just listened. When I got back my son asked me what I would have done if he would of tried to get physical I said " I would of put the helmet back on and kicked his ***" Never heard from the loser again.
Hijack over.....

I always ran open pipes. After building a new house in a development I figured I'd put the baffles in to be a good neighbor, since I went to work at 3am. That lasted 2 days when I said f'm. No confrontation or F.F. involved.

Never modified my pipes for the neighbors one way or the other, only wear a FF when it's cold or I am going through California.
Was that a dull, prodding enough response?
