Is there any reason to adjust the clutch at the clutch pak. I have been adjusting mine at the cable is that okay. Seems to be doing ok.

Yes. It ensures adequate clearance within the clutch discs at the pressure plate end of the actuator rod while the cable adjustment ensures adequate clearance at the opposite end of the actuator rod (ball and ramp). Both are important.

Cable adjustment does not adjust the clutch, it only adjusts the cable...

Hoorah i did the clutch pak adjustment per the manual for the first time bought the bike in 09 with 15000 miles now has 27000 miles as far as i know it has never been adjusted. I was always afraid to do it thought i would mess it up so i left it alone. Rode it for about 15 minutes on highway so far everything seems okay.boy that was easy.

At every service I do it at the pack and cable, if my cable stretches a little before the next service I'll tighten the cable without going to the pack.
