Sigh...WTF?
Mama and I fell in love with the new RGU on a trip to Colorado. 2 dealers in CO And one in OK quoted us msrp. The two dealers closest to the house quoted about 7% over msrp. Would like to buy local but can't understand what these guys are thinking.

They are thinking that the 2011 models just arrived and the RGU is the newest of the new ones.
I'm sure that they are selling a bunch, as they do every August.
Give them a few months and let the cold air slide in, then they may be in a better mood.

If you are stupid enough to buy it over MSRP, they're smart enough to sell it to you. It's called " self-control of impulse buying"

They're trying to tell you to take another trip up here to Colorado.

I always like to buy local and I would give them the opportunity to match, if they will not do that then maybe its time to patronize another dealer. Thats only fair and your local dealers loss.

If you went to your local and offered to pay them in a cashier's check the MSRP, you would find yourself in the sales office closing the deal in no time.

That sucks--Really sucks. What kind of greedy business people charge over MSRP? I personally don't do business with those type of businesses. Yeah, it's their right to charge whatever the traffic will bear--and it's our right to patronize folks who earn our loyalty. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.
