Just thinking this would help make it easier to get to my oil dip stick. (dyna model) There's just enough room to get your hand on with the shields on but more with them off.

 

When I first saw this post I thought, oh no. Not that grundge black is the new chrome stuff again. But hey, it looks really good!

 

Had to wrap mine because of 2/14" pipe no shields available and it looks great.

 

Hated the look 3-4 yrs ago. Last yr it has grown on me and now I think its really cool..
But learned a while back while about wrapping pipes the one should go from the rear to the front header... looks like U wrapped from front to rear?.

Doing it rear to front is supposed to keep the leading edge from raveling out from the wind... Just helping, maybe.

Anyway U did a vell of a good job doing it....
