I did some searching and I think Skid Lid is a company that only sells whole sale to other companies. I looked for contact data and found nothing.

Mike, reading some reviews folks were saying the helmet is light and you forget it's even on your head. Problem is, there is no snap or system to strap down the excess chin strap so you get slapped rolling down the road.

Thanks for that,I was thinking about the Dayton half helmet, it only weights 1.5lb in the standard but I have heard that it fits a round head better than a long one like mine.I like to stay no more than 1.5lb.and Dayton say there's has 7/8" on the sides for padding.

Cyclegear stores carry them. See if you have one around you and go try it on.

Daytona=round head. Best oval helmet by far is the Vega XTS Naked. Just do a search here & you will find many happy egghead Vega owners It's light too.

thats true about the length of the strap... I just tuck the excess under the chin strap and it stays put pretty well. I may cut it off shorter, not sure yet. I have tried a few 1/2 helmets (HJC, Vega, Daytona, and Skid Lid) and this one is my favorite by far, but I have a regular shaped medium head so YMMV.
