Definitely glad you two are ok. It's also good that the bike can still be ridden.

I hope, other than the deer event, that you two had an excellent trip.

wow, glad to hear you and your wife are ok. theres a siren that mounts on your front fender and is wind driven that helps keep dear away. Naturally it's very high pitched and humans can't hear it

Holy crap! That's some good riding to keep your bike upright. What time of day was it when your accident occurred?

The wife and I were in Door County, WI last week and I just rolled off the throttle when out from the tree line a big ol'doe and a yearling was out in front of us. Just missed both of them. today on the way home from a ride a blue heron crossed in front of us so low we ducked. I swear that had the wing span of a 747. Somebody south of us was hit in the chest by a turkey buzzard, he veered off the road into the trees, fatal. Gotta watch the wild life.

Happened about 9:50 am saturday....deer was dead by time i got to it...which was after checking on myself/wife and bike. Just jumped out from left, I hammered both brake levers hard as I could and braced for impact. Called son in law...his response....make sure to get backstraps!
