Someone who works in my building just looked at me a and said "Saxon is a step-up from a Harley" and "It's for people who want a better quality custom" Thoughts?

To me it's nothing more than another wannabe custom bike company styling the "HD" look. HD is the original, all the others are just copies. That being said, some of them have nice features, are they a step up, highly doubtful.

Somebody just walked up to you, out of the blue, and said "Saxon is a step up from a Harley?

Saxon might be a pretty good bike. But I've never heard of them before now. If you break down on the road, where's the nearest dealership? I'm pretty sure not nearly as close as the nearest Harley shop.

It's like saying an oak tree is a step up from a maple. Two different breeds of trees/bikes.

He's a guy who works in my building and he know I ride and asked me if I knew about Saxon. I'm not sure, but I think there is a indie dealer out here that sells Saxons and he may do work with this guy and I'm assuming he's repeating what this indie dealer told him.

I would've replyed, "Why is the seat height higher?"
