I thought I'd heard it all, seen darn near it all, but I'd never heard of much less ever seen a Saxon. It doesn't look like I've missed much, I guess if one has the cash...

Just checked out their website. Look like under-powered choppers to me. 96ci on a chopper? Get real.

Just pieced together - buy 100 motors from S&S - 500 brakes from Brembo - you get the picture - they can charge less than an OCC or Jessie James one off but still expensive - no dealer network - I`ll stick with the Sporty

You guys crack me up. ANY dealer or Harley type Indy can work on a Saxon motorcycle. So could most of the people on this board if the gave it a try. They are hand built parts bikes built with mostly off the shelf components and a bunch a hand built bolt on's. They are as reliable as any Harley configuration motorcycle thats built by a shop. They are of course the same over priced gimmick bikes that popped up in response to the wealthy knitwits with more money than brains hopping on the chopper bandwagon. Theres plenty of them out there and they are one of the few custom builders that are still in business. Don't be so quick to **** on Saxon's parade. They are still pretty popular among the chopper sect.

Got a good friend who bought a Saxon back in '06...not a bad bike, but it's been in the shop more than a few times...the dealer that sold them closed the doors about 3 years ago...
He doesn't like to be reminded of the time it wouldn't start and a couple of us H-D boys had to push it till it started...
He could probably forget about it easier if we hadn't gotten a pic, and framed and hung it at the diner where we all hang out..
We titled the photo "3 Man Chopper"...

Never heard of them. Never read a bike magazine with a review of them. Just how many bikes have they made?
