The Indian Tacos at the Crazy Horse monument are the best and all you can eat.

Anywhere but downtown prices are too high unless your drunk and don't pay shive a git. Better off eating over in Rapid some where. Don't remember the name but there is an old converted fire house that has great food.

I've never been particularly impressed by the food choices in Sturgis proper. A couple of good places and a fun steak house in Spearfish that are easy to find. All the usual big chains in Rapid. AND, a world class Italian restaurant in downtown Rapid. I can't remember the name of it, but I'd rate it up with the best I've had in New York, Chicago or San Francisco.

My wife says the name of the place is Botticelli's. She's usually right about things like this.

If you ever make it out to Hill City, try the Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon dinner at the Alpine Inn. They start serving at 5 pm but be sure to get there at least 1/2 hour before. There will be a long line.

The VFW in Deadwood (I think) had an excellent T-Bone, baked potato, and salad for something like 10 or 12 bucks and the beer was cheap!

Did a week in/around Sturgis in 06 and don't remember eating a damn thing. Liquid diet for the most part.
