I've had batteries strand me twice. While the bike was running. One time, the bike crawled to a complete stop, then started right up and ran for a couple more miles......

Loose battery connection. Had it happen to me a few times on various bikes. Also seen it happen while helpin' stranded folks on the side of the road.

Just finished a traffic school class a week ago today for speeding.
