Default Should I change my order?

Hey guys...I posted last week regarding an order I placed for a deuce style disk rear wheel. I've been wanted to upgrade the rear wheel on my 06 WG since I got it, and when HD added this to their catalog (new for 07), I had to have it. So back in early/mid july, I went to the local dealer and ordered it. A couple weeks went by and I didn't hear anything, so I called and they're telling me it's on back order without a release date. Now, probably 7 or 8 weeks after I ordered it, I'm still being told back ordered. Meanwhile, the wheel installation kit (separate purchase of course) is on back order until Sept. 15. At least there's a date for that...but nothing for the wheel. At this point, it could be a year before I get this damn thing.

So I've pretty much lost all patience at this point. I've been considering placing an order on a different wheel, or cancelling the order altogether. So I was looking at some alternatives, and I see one other wheel that appeals to my taste, and that is within my budget (which is kinda important right now). Matter of fact, the alternative wheel is about 250 bucks cheaper...bonus! The wheel I'm talking about is a 17" chrome slotted six spoke wheel...I like the style, and I think this will look good on my bike as well.

Here's a couple pics of both wheels. I'd like to hear what you guys think. I really had my heart set on that disk style wheel, but like I said...I'm tired of waiting.
And I'm sure there will be some folks that mention aftermarket...Just so you know, I won't be going that route. Nothing against aftermarket parts/accessories....but I've made a point to buy all HD parts since I bought my bike last year. I'm sticking with that theme. So please don't bother to mention aftermarket products because they won't be considered.

Basically, I would just like to know which wheel you guys think would look better...specifically on my bike (also pictured). I really appreciate your comments. They will certainly help me with my decision. Either way, I have the wide tire kit on order, and a chrome sproket cover...both of which will be installed regardless of what wheel I choose (or no wheel)

The spoked wheel would probably fit w/the look of that ride a little better.

Just out of curiousity... have you tried to get the same wheel elsewhere? Like calling Zanotti's or something? Just wondering if your local parts counter is giving you the bizness....

I vote for the chrome six spokes. But then again, I'm a little biased.

Thanks guys...guess it's the six spoke. You might be changing my mind for me

I did check online a couple weeks ago, and they didn't have them either.

I don't think the spoked wheel will look good, or right, on the back with the wire spoked wheel on the front. The solid wheel would look much better.
