Metzeler ME880s for me. They handle better, they corner better, they are better in the rain, and aren't overwhelmed by grooved pavement.
Cheers!

I changed tires for the first time and replaced them with ME 880s.
I like them so far for all the reasons Clammy mentioned above. Day and night as far as I am concerned.
Some may say thay don't wear as long. I don't know about that yet, but I could care less. These feel glued to the road and that's what I am looking for.

Dunlops, usually K491. Metzeler's don't last long enough. Get 10k - 14k miles out of the Dunlops on the rear, but only 8k out of the Metzelers. At the end of the tire life the Metzelers felt squirreler than the Dunlops.

I just assume the manufacturer knows better than I do so, I go with original equipment: Dunlop.
I've had Metzlers on previous bikes but I honestly don't "carve" with my Harley like I did on my Sport Touring bikes.

Dunlop. Have read/heard/seen others, but have always used Dunlops. Installed the third set last October.
Anybody used Conti's on a Touring Bike?

Dunlop since they are the stock tires still...
Used to use Metzlers on the Rice Rockets... not sure if I would get them on the cruiser.
Now... I know I am going to get flamed for this, but...
I am probably going to stick with the Dunlops on the Harley for two reasons.
1) They seem to perform just fine for my style of driving
2) They have the bar and shield on them and I actually kinda like that little touch.
Flame on.

I was surprised when I saw the HD logo's on the Dunlops, since the previous sets never had them. But I figured since I bought them from the dealer it was how HD got them.
