harley riders hate innovation, that's just a fact. look at the terrible sales of the v-rod and xr1200.

it looks like all R&D is dedicated to the sportsters though.

I own and operate a Harley Davidson motorcycle for the very reasons H-D has had for so long. I like the way it sounds. I like the way it rides. I like the way it feels when it idles and I like the way it feels when it is up to highway speed. I like the way I feel when I dismount after a nice ride and I like the way I feel when I just look at it.

If I want 21st century innovations, I'd buy a Victory or other plastic bike. I don't want water-cooled mambie/pambie motorcycles. I want one that has the look, feel and features that make it what it is... a Harley Davidson.

Seriously folks, if you have so much to bitch about with the new ones, then don't buy one. If you don't like what you currently own, then sell it and get one that you like. It really isn't that tough.

Given a vote, I think the majority of Harley Davidson owners prefer to leave things alone and let the Japanese companies build and sell the next "ah-ha".

Disappointing?

Not really. Actually seeing the 2011s makes me glad I made the decision to not worry about buying any new bike and to just go ahead and customize the one I have. The parts are on order as we speak.

I and I know several others ,would be interested in a VRod that was actually comfortable to ride with bags and a good fairing. They do nothing with this platform they have.

Well shame on him for not being part of the 11's love fest.
I bet he's a commie too.
You know he kicks puppies.
I am just glad the MoCo did not go off and do something that would make me decide I need to spend money adding another one!!
I get a reprieve and save some money riding my junky old 09's for another year.

Honda!!! You got yourself a few future customers on this thread. Or should have, anyway!

As long as they come in black, I'm good!
