Default Heat shielding on FLSTC?

My wife is complaining (and I can understand why) of her right leg being hotter than hades when she gets on my 2010 Heritage Softail Classic with V&H Big Shot Long pipes. It was hot before I had the new pipes put on but now she's complaining louder than the sound the pipes make. I'm not taking 'em off and I don't want her off rides with me so any suggestions? Do they make heat shields? I've found a few products that supposedly work for the rider but I've yet to find anything made to help the passenger be more comfy. Thoughts? Advice? Thanks!

XiEDs. From Nightrider.com is a pretty inexpensive fix for the hot pipes. Or spend a bunch of money on a SEST or TMax type tuner.

Or spend a bunch of $$ for her own bike. That's what I did.

I have 3" S&S 'shotgun' slip ons with adjustable dB killers (own patent) and my wife never complains about the heat. I complain sometimes about the hot ***** I get from the aft. cylinder head. Especially in city traffic in hot weather (+95F) and hardly no wind to cool...
But I think that I have seen heat shields for these pipes you have. I have at least heatshield for the first part of the slip ons..
