seriously it's like every friggin person you tell you're buying a new (new used) bike and what you're paying they become warren f***ing buffet... are these people put on earth just to rain on your parade? "you paid what for a bike? in this economy?"
yeah i'm pulling $10,000 out of my retirement account, and yeah i'm paying a penalty on it. with the way it's been losing money there won't be anything left in it in five years anyway.
you can save your cash and cash out when you're 65 and die at 72, i'll be riding my fatboy now and using it to trade in and up until i'm 65 so suck my *****...
i ride the bike 90% of the time to work, store whatever so it is a mode of transportation, you paid 15K for your s***box hyundai...
on another note i just sold my old bike to a guy who said he was a member of the chingalings? never heard of them, not sure if it was legit or not as he seemed kinda ignorant of bikes in general.

LOL . . .glad to hear about your new fatboy. I play the same game . .trying to balance retirement savings with living my life now . .I know too many people who croaked within 2 years of retiring.
Take care,

Good for you! Enjoy it now. I was going to wait a few years to buy my E. Glide and keep riding the old Gold Wing. My wife told me to get my Harley now (last year) and I am glad I did.

It doesn't matter if ya bought it for $1.00, some SOB would tell you, "You paid WAY too much for THAT"............. Don't worry 'bout it.

Ride the SH*T out of that fat boy. I know that is what I do every day that I can. If you always wait in the end you will have missed out on some of life's experiences and the good times.
