Although I didn't buy my scoot from Seminole HD (found it in Lake City from a private owner) , I have been using their Service Department. They have done a great job so far. In fact, I am going there this morning to see why my 6th gear light doesn't illuminate when in 6th gear.

Rickoshay45,
I agree, the roads out in Lake County are good ones. We've ridden them so many times though we've been heading down to the South trying to find some new roads to "freshen" things up a bit. Hwy 17 down to Sebring is a good run too. We've been looking for a good beach run to take, but we haven't found a good one yet. The run North from Daytona Beach up to St. Augustine isn't bad. You're right along the coast there through Ormond Beach and Ormond by the Sea, but then the road kind of cuts inland through Palm Coast until you get back up around Marineland. There's also a ton of traffic and lights on that road. This weekend we're going to run West to Crystal River and the Osello Trail. Hopefully that will be a good one.

That's not a bad run, but it can be brutal in the heat we have been having lately. Wifey's Bday this weekend, so it looks like the Majic Kingdom for me!!

When going through Crystal R, check out the Three Bananas...nice little keys-style restaurant and bar right on the lake.

Maybe you should get out of Orlando more. There's roads here that are fun to ride if you look for them. There are even some near Orlando.

Cool, thanks W.P., we'll give it a try. PM thunderstorm rolling in as we "speak." I don't really mind the getting wet part, although I'm not fond of that either, but I hate getting fried by lightening!

also, on the beach rides...when you get just south of Sebastian inlet, A1A is a nice ride...very few condos...down through Vero Beach (bite and a beer at Mulligans on the beach) and then down through Ft. Pierce (check out the Navy Seal Museum...pretty cool). That's as far south as I have gone on A1A...not sure about the stretch down to Ft Lauderdale.

W.P. thanks for the update. I grew up in Satellite Beach. I bet I haven't been down toward Sebastion Inlet/Vero in 10 years. Used to go Snook fishing there and near Wabasso.
