My motorcycle is NOT a toy
Sorry, but that one gets under my skin. People that refer to their Harleys as "toys".
With all this recent talk on here about excuses why people don't ride much, or that the bike is just motorcycle or a toy, got me thinking. I don't think of my bike (or the other ones I've owned in the past) as a toy. Besides, wouldn't that insinuate then that the owner's a child?

Contrary to what my finance company thinks, mine is not a toy. I ride every day to work, run errands, etc. I don't even own a car. That I actually *enjoy* the commute, or going where I need to be doesn't hurt, though.

Mine's a toy, so is my Jeep. Things I could exist without if I had to, I have them because they are my personal interest. No disrespect intended

Considering how much fun I have on mine, you could call it a toy if you want. I'm not so thin-skinned that labels like that bother me. Just don't call it ugly cuz those are fightin' words. A motorcycle is something I could live without but life is so much better with it!
