Sorry, but that one gets under my skin. People that refer to their Harleys as "toys".
With all this recent talk on here about excuses why people don't ride much, or that the bike is just motorcycle or a toy, got me thinking. I don't think of my bike (or the other ones I've owned in the past) as a toy. Besides, wouldn't that insinuate then that the owner's a child?

Motor cycles, boats, sports cars and other luxury items are big boy toys. Not toys in the sense of something for a child but toys in that they are not essential items for one to have. Therefore toys to those adults that can afford them.
These toys belong in man caves.
It is not a negative term. I like toys.
