30T trans sprocket mod success!
Well a few days ago I was wondering if I could ever get that trans sprocket bolt undone...a trip to harbor freight and leaving with the earthquake 1/2" impact wrench for 89 duckets did the job nicely....for the money that tool rocks! If you are going to do the mod don't waste your time with any size breaker bar....I don’t' care if it is 5 feet long don't waste your time. As long as you have a 1.5 Gal air compressor that can put out 90 PSI with this wrench you should be in business.
Another setback was the Barnett HD clutch spring. If you are considering it I would recommend against it...I could not get the clutch adjusted correctly to save my life. At first it would drag a little....another adjustment it dragged to where I couldn't put the bike in first gear w/out it dying...I pulled the primary and all looked well. I tried to adjust it again with no luck. I pulled the trans cover (had to remove the exhaust) to check the ***** and ramp for proper fitment....no problem there. After 4 hours of trouble shooting I replaced the Barnett spring with the OEM and it worked.
After 2 full days of messing with this mod I am flat out beat. I can't wait to ride the bike more tomorrow.

Well, everything I had read from other posts were spot-on. First gear isn't as tall and sixth gear is usable at 60 MPH. I do feel a hint more torque as well. I had enough play in my rear wheel that I could continue to use the stock belt.
