A mini bike with a briggs & stratton 5HP motor when I was 12, to this day that was the bike I probably had the most fun on and I've had at least 10 bikes since then.

 

Found the pic on the web, looks like they're both CL350's.

Started out on a Honda CB350 twin about 35 years ago. Couldn't ride over 25 miles without getting off due to the vibrations.

97 Suzuki Intruder 800

 

I had mini bikes but I bought my first real "motorcycle" when I was about 14. It was a Sears Allstate. About 90 ccs I think. It was seriously used. I delivered papers on it. I bought a 1973 Honda 450 (new) and had that until I crashed it in 1975.

 

45 years ago and you expect me to remember that. OK. It was a 65 Sachs 125 dirt bike with a swingarm front suspension. Or floating link front suspension depending on who you're talking to. Next one was a 66 Greeves 360 about three years later. Took my soon to be wife on night time dirt rides with that one. She's been taking me for a ride ever since.

In 1985, my neighbor's Honda CM400T. Great bike, don't remember the year - but he had kept it in excellent condition. Sold it to my stepbrother a year later and he took it to college...never saw it again.
