Default 3/4 HeadTtrip helmet by Composite Craft

Well after owning three 3/4 Biltwell lids non-DOT and one Fulmer V2 DOT, i decided to change directions to something different. I just purchased a newly released non-DOT 3/4 HeadTrip lid in black candy. They tell me its about the same size as my Biltwell's....so we'll see. And yes i got a recall check for my other HeadTrip/ACC lid so i know about the recall on the DOT's... Whatcha think???? I like em'....

haha I think you are about to unleash a $hitstorm from a) DOT helmet zealots who can't keep their yaps shut when anyone wears a novelty helmet, and b) people burned by ACC on the last round of recalls.

but I like it. I freely admit that I have a helmet fettish, but I am currently satisfied with my 2 favorites... Skid lid 1/2 in flat black, and Fulmer V2 in 3/4. Both are DOT, just cause of the flak of some areas cracking down and not wanting the hassle. Before these 2, I wore my ACC novelty polo exclusively for years... I still like it but the lining is falling apart and kinda skeezy... but I still wear it occasionally. I won't admit to you how many helmets I have on the shelf now that didn't cut it for some reason or another... but it's too many.

If those jack offs from head trip are in business making helmets, then I want my money from them! They got the ***** to say on their web site to beware of cheap chinese imations. Yea, like the cheap imitation of a dot helmet they sold me for a premium dot price!

OMFG the ***** on those dudes...they just changed their name (sort of) and went back into the same business! Why aren't the feds all over this since they basically committed fraud when they told us they have no more money to send back to us after the forced recall and now they are at it again? This makes me want to fly to Florida and see if their new "Universal" helmets fit up their ***.

LOL!!!! here we go!!! Already 2 that got burned by the old owners/company.....Notice guys the company isn't called ACC. They are Composite Craft. And YES im very fortunate to have gotten a recall check ($178.00 bones) from ACC.

I agree with you steveh326 i like it too. Thats the reason for my purchase. And let me tell ya i've had alot of lids myself. I'm a lid fanatic also........

Can't wait to get this one in the mail. It looks Comfy/Strong for a non-DOT/Low Profile/Cool!!!...I liked how my ACC ext-004 (black candy) shell looked so im thinken a 3/4 lid made the same color should look sweet too.

I called composite craft looking for my money and they swear they are not the same people. They said they bought all the equipment and assets from head trip and are now making and selling helmets from Orlando instead of Daytona. I don't know!

ACC was located in Orlando, too, not Daytona. And, just checked Composite Craft website, same address as ACC. Sounds fishy. I gave up trying to get my refund from ACC a long time ago.

Nice looking 3/4 helmet. I never got my money back on TWO ACC helmets. I got the shipping label, but was busy doing other stuff, plus I didn't have another lid to wear once it was sent. By the time I got a new lid, they were already bottoms up. These are the same exact people at the same exact address. But I could care less about the refund at this point. I just won't ever deal with them again and never recommend anyone else does. A lot of people I know bought their DOT lids after seeing mine. Not anymore huh.

Like I said, Nice LID, but if I am running a 3/4, it's gonna be DOT. If I am gonna wear a novelty, I wear my ACC beenie. So I went with the Bell Custom 500. Liking it just fine.
