Sticky Grips
I've had the Harley diamond plate type grips for several years. The problem I have is the rubber on them has become sticky and tacky. I want to keep them because they match some of the other accessories I've put on my bike. Does anybody have any ideas on how I can fix this other than replacing them.

I don't know man, thats a tough one.Better that way than slick as long as they don't make a mess on you hands. What I might try might make um slick so I am not going to suggest.

Try cleaning the rubber bands with methyl hydrate, it may strip off the sticky outer layer exposing fresh clean rubber.

Scrub them with dish washing soap (in water) and a stiff brush.

Don't they sell replacement rubber parts for those? I know I can get them for my PM Renthal grips, maybe ask the parts guy.
