Motorcyclist kills self after hitting deer?

Good man, long time rider and ABATE member. Was responsible for getting the annual toy run organized.
Owned several bikes and was in business with his Dad.
Very rural area and they found the bike and him down over an embankment not visible from the road.
Shame. He was well known and liked in the local motorcycle community.
Probably never know for sure what happened.

Prayers to the family. As to the off color remarks, all I can say is that some folks have been around death so much that this is how they have learned to deal with it. Don't know if that rule applies to these posters, but just something to consider, I guess...

So someone does understand. I cannot count on both hands the number of times that someone close professionally and/or personally met an untimely demise and those of us close to him/her got together at some point and told funny stories about the deceased and us. If you can laugh at life then you better learn to laugh at death because it happens to all of us. No disrespect intended but ...
