Default HP 100+ Torque 100+ How do you hang on?

I don't get it. My 2010 Ultra dyno'd in at HP 70.68 Torque 83.95. First and second gear I am shifting as fast as I can. By third I am exceeding all speed limits and fourth starts getting scary. That leaves fifth and sixth to do who knows what with. What the heck are you guys doing with over 100/100? How do you hang on to that much power and torque? Are you all crazy?

LOL..... got to be kidding. Try a bike with some serious hp and torque,
say a new gen VMax 1700 /V4 with nearly 200 RWHP and serious torque, or maybe a 'Busa, most any liter sportbike with sub 3 second 0-60mph times and 5 or 6 seconds to 100mph.

BTW, due to not enough HP to overcome drag, current gen big V-Twins in stock mode can go faster on level ground in 5th gear than the overdrive 6th gear. For instance, my Harley with about 105X105 HP and torque.... and it has that torque and HP over 100 until 6,000 RPM is faster on the top end in 5th than it is in 6th and it is really slow acceleration after about 105 mph.

It is about 40% + stronger than stock and it has a quick time getting to 100 (for a big cruiser V-Twin) but a heck of a time getting to 120 mph

here's a video of and acceleration run on the beast.....

Spray yourself with Superglue all over your azz, boot soles, and hands(gloves) before you go out for a putt.Works for me for over 35 years now.

I don't know about anyone else here, but I hang on with my hands, finger wrapped firmly around the grips

on my busa at 100mph, im just clickin into 2nd gear....on the dyna its a different animal, at 100 it hits a wall. after extended riding at 100+ you get used to it, as well as learn what gear works, and what dosen't.

I've only had my bike bike past the numbers once. With apes, it's not so much fun, but it did get there quick. My 95 pulls pretty hard.

My old vulcan 1500 classic Fi hit 120 keepin up with a lady to get to her home for a nice surprise. LOL. Still had plenty of room on the throttle and RPM's. A guy I know with his 'busa got stopped and ticketed. How about 160 MPH ! That ticket was shy of ten-grand.

You just hang on and go. My 08 ZR1000 is rated at 10.8 in the 1/4 mile and 0-60 in like 2.9 seconds-top speed of over 160 and I hang on just fine. I'm only about 155-160 LBS and I do just fine. Alot of it has to do with how you are on the bike and how much you tuck down and get ready for the G's
