Default The scariest moment in my life..

My daughter, son, friend and his daughter and I were out riding today when I witnessed my son go down. He was making a sharp right hand turn when his front tire hit the newly painted white line along the shoulder of the road. His bike slid out from under him and down he went. I was in front of him and saw it in my rear view mirror. I'm still shaking. He's going to be ok, and the bike can be repaired. I don't think I was ever that scared while working in Iraq.

Be careful and cherish every moment you get to ride with your kids!

Glad he is going to be ok. My son in law just started riding. He won't lead so I'm constantly watching my mirrors.

Glad to hear he's ok. I don't have any kids but I have 2 nephews who ride and something happening to them is my worst nightmare. What kind injuries does he have? Minor I hope.

My boy is only 8 weeks, and I am so excited to teach him to ride one day, but so terrified of what you just described.

I can totally understand why people want to get their loved ones into biking, but to be honest I would freak out everytime they hit the road for a ride.

I'm glad it can all be repaired one way or another. And thanks for going to Iraq, I'm sure it benefited us somehow here in the States.
