Thanks folks. It's now 3:00 a.m. and I still can't sleep.

 

So glad to hear everybody is ok. I always warn new riders about cornering over stripes or anything else. That close to the shoulder is bad idea in any case...could always be some sand, dirt, etc. I once had a close call on a forest road when I went around a sharp turn too close to the edge and hit some pine straw. I managed to stay up. Tough lesson to go down, but I'm sure he'll never forget it.
