Glad he's ok. I've always been told there are two types of riders; those who have been down, and those who are gonna go down. God knows I've slid across the asphalt a couple of times. Still have a bit of it embedded in my chin from the last time. I am sure that he will be a better rider because of this.

Glad to hear everyone's OK. Mine driving a car is scary enough. I think my kids can ride bikes when I'm dead. I couldn't take it.

I was in front of him and saw it in my rear view mirror. I'm still shaking. He's going to be ok, and the bike can be repaired. I don't think I was ever that scared while working in Iraq.

Be careful and cherish every moment you get to ride with your kids!
Glad he's OK. My oldest daughter just got her own a year or two ago...But she's in CA & we probably won't get to ride together. Enjoy having the same love for the wind as your son does! I envy you!

Last year my son and I were riding a poker run. My son was a few bikes ahead of me, right behind my best friend. Best friend pulled out to pass a truck, son followed blindly. From where my wife and I were we could tell there was not enough room for friend to make it,let alone my son. The truck they were passing pulled over so they could get back in. Both made it but scared the s**t out of us. Son now rides behind me only, and best friend got his *** chewed,WR.

My Grandson will NEVER see the back of my bike. He can make his choice when he is old enough.

Glad he's ok! They should put sand or something in that paint to make it less slippery.
