If you are in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, or South Carolina, this guy is supposed to be the real deal. He's a biker and I've read a couple of articles about him (not paid ads) in regional biker rags.

If the bike was messed up and you got some road rash I would say just handle it on your own since the lawyer is going to take a third anyways. But in this case you got some serious crap going on, you need a lawyer. Just make sure you get someone you like so you can deal with them easily through this.

For sure and dont accept a quick settlement either because down the road you may know more about lingering affects than you do now. Also dont worry about giving a 3rd to the Lawyer. Any lawyer worth his salt will make it well worth your while because the other party's insurance company is going to try to nickle and dime you to death if you don't get represented.

Get a Lawyer ASAP.
my wife is a Diabetic and had to have pins put in her ankle, from an accident 10 years ago and has had to have several surgeries years later which there insurance had to pay for. thanx to a good attorney who got all med bills from accident covered for her lifetime.

Get a lawyer. I got crashed back in Dec. Had shoulder surgery in April as a result. I hired a lawyer due to the fact that the other driver an I were both insured by State Farm. The other driver died (old age, no relation to the crash) and made up my mind for me. How can my insurance company be an advocate for me AND be an advocate for her at the same time???
Get a lawyer to be an advocate for you and defend your rights against the lawyers who are on retainer for the insurance company.

If it was Vehicle damage and minor injuries only then there should be no reason for a lawyer. They aren't going to pay much for a little road rash and some bruises.
Your wife's injuries sound more significant, many ambulance chasers will do an initial consultation for free.

Lawyer up now, at least so that you have someone following along making sure things are right and to guide you through this and is there if things get sour...what if your wife looses her leg over this? Diabetic could very easliy loose a leg.
