neighbor "inadvertently" gets burned by my exhaust?

Lots of good advice here. I'd put it together in a summary to give to your Insurance Rep. But . . . I wouldn't say a word or send a note or have any contact with this person. Let the Insurance Company deal with her. That's part of what you pay for, and I'm sure you're not the first person that has had a claim like this . . .

2nd degree burns do not scar, I know, I had 2nd degree burns from my wrist all the way up to my arm pit, my entire arm..hurt like hell, but today there is ZERO sign of it happening, so whats she want? paid for something that probably did not even happen? Id make her prove it to the courts that she burned herself on your bike, aint no way id put that claim on my insurance until forced to..i think she is a liar looking for some money or to make you move your bike out of the spot its in or something really stupid like that.

as stated before 2nd degree is just a blister. no skin will be left. Do not send her any letters or give her anymore info as she may change her story. Just like talking to the cops, give them no info at all. Roger has the best advice and knows something about the law (He may be a lawyer) He is citing the cases as would a good lawyer and this is what a judge would look at. stick to the facts
: your bike was parked all day
: your car was parked to the right of the bike
:the bike was covered
:she had to go out of her way to get close to your bike
there is no guessing at these facts either, you must be sure of it when you talk about them.... plus she can use this forum against you if she sees this thread
