counter law suit. on the day in question somebody did x,y,z to my bike. that case will go away in a hurry

 

I would just leave it alone. You've done what you need to do. Maybe take a pic of the bike just in case, but I wouldn't point her towards the other bike. She didn't burn herself on your bike. Period, end of story. Its not your business to investigate if another bike did. Let her deal with it.

 

This is crazy! From the title I thought it was going to be a silly post about a neighbor checking out your bike and never bothered to look at the post till I did today.

Looks like she got confused on which bike she got burned on.
