$65@ hour for most shops around here... indy and dealerships....
I don't work for free.... and don't expect others to do so. My hourly wage, is a fraction, of what my boss charges for my time....

$90 here in Sunny Central FL. I think the Indys are only a bit less around $70 to $80. Of course I never pay the dealership much of anything since I do my own service and anything they have fixed was under warranty. When I do my services, I always ask myself why ANYONE would pay a dealer those fees to do it. Even though each time requires a bit more work, it doesn't take me any longer because the other stuff that is done on a normal basis goes by a little quicker from having done it repeatedly. I walked into the service department the other day to ask about getting my security code rest and I saw their "menu" of services listed by service interval. I laughed to myself when I saw that I would have had to pay them over $500 to do my 20K service which I did myself in less than half a day for the cost of my SYN-3 fluids, oil filter and a pair of spark plugs. All of which I get at 15% discount.
