Anyone stayed at the Best Western Golden Spike or the Comfort Inn in Hill City? Which one is better?

Can't say about the Best Western but I stayed at the Comfort Inn a couple of years back and it was pretty nice.

Neither stayed at the Holiday Inn near Mt. Rushmore. But unless you were lucky enough to find a vacant room they are all usually booked up a year in advance. Enjoy.

I stayed at the Iron Horse, it was about 5 miles from Sturgis. The rooms were clean, and they always had hot coffee.

Both are nice. I prefer the Best Western though. Advantage of Comfort inn is the location to downtown.

Are you saying that they have rooms available? That is a prime location.

The Iron Horse does, for the second half of the week. $240 a night, two queen beds. I just checked.
Wish I was going.

Somebody must have just snatched it up. I just checked online and it said no rooms avaiable.

Didn't stay at either one but we did stay in Hill City at the KOA. May I make a suggestion? Check out their site, they had lodges, cabins, large cabins, full service hookups and primitive camping. Turn out of the campground and you're about 3 miles from some of the best ridin' in your life.
