Indian to Harley or Harley and Indian ?

Here is a photo of my dad taken in the spring of 1943 with his Indian Chief. I think (but am not sure) it was a 1936 Chief. The photo was taken in front of his house on Austin Boulevard in Cicero, Illinois just a few days before he left to do his tour in WWII in the Pacific. I'd give my left nut to have that bike.

Here is another shot of my dad on his Indian in 1943. He is on the white one on the left. On the other bike is my Dad's sister (the passenger) and her future husband, both also on an Indian. The first motorcycle I ever had a ride on was my uncle's Indian in this picture. I think I was about 4 years old at the time. Uncle is now pushing 90, and I understand he still rides, but on a goldwing now. Have not seen him in at least 35 years.

My father runs an Indian Dealer in NJ, he had and event in NY (Bikers for Babies) and Dee Snider (of Twisted Sister) who ownes an Indian came by. Thought you might like this picture. Although still not as cool as your dad on his!

Just bought an Indian
I just bought a new 2009 Chief Roadmaster 2 weeks ago. Was able to buy it as a third bike and keep my Harleys. Just turned over 500 miles last night. So far has been fun bike to own and ride. With the $7000 they are giving on 2009's it made the bike affordable for me. My best friend bought a 2010 Bomber last month. We are riding to Charlotte to tour the factory in September.
