No problems with this set up from Calgary to Sturgis To Tombstone, to Vegas and back. 10 lbs. warning is a joke.

Ok if the load's ahead of the rear axle like AK47's... if it's behind try to keep it below say 30lbs.....

Thanks all. That makes me feel better, because a 10lb sissy bar bag would be a waste of chrome.

My new bag is with the UPS man.

Hey, sorry it took so long to get back to you but I was up in Kansas City all day today, just got home. That bag is a Saddleman bag. I bought it on line for around $120 shipped. It has tons of compartments and a variety of straps are included for strapping it down. It also comes with full instructions that are actually easy to understand. It will fit either behind the sissy bar or like I have it, on the front side. The lumbar support really does work by the way. PM me if you want more info on it or better pics.

Default How's this?

I rode about 2,500 miles in 9 days exploring Old 66 and Death Valley with this set-up
including fighting 50mph crosswinds in a dust storm near Winslow (later got to 70mph).

That wind was working on it pretty hard, but it was controllable. Better than some
semis that were blown over closing Interstate 40 between Winslow and Flagstaff.

If you look at the weight limits on almost any model a passenger and a small bag takes you to the limit. For dressers a passenger and loading the tour pak is the limit. If people followed those, nobody would be able to travel more than across town. Just make sure the load is balanced and nothing gets near the belt.
