BB, I'm not bashing the OP. I'm just saying that an idea or expectation the OP had seems a bit of a stretch.
Cage tires are different. Last year, I had a tire on my truck actually seperate from itself. One of the layers just sperated. Was really cool looking. The company did warranty the tire but balancing cost me a few bucks more.

That's what I was thinking. Don't be a cheap *** and get the tire balanced. If you get a nail or screw in the tire are you going to ask them to replace it for free?

>>I think I am going to go with the dyna beads and have my buddy balance it at his shop.<<
You won't have to have anyone do anything if you use the Dyna Beads. You just put the prescribed amount of them in the tire and you're done.

enlightening post. I will try to look over all my paperwork and manuals. I need to see where it says "waring..weights for tire balancing purposes may fall off long before user needs a new tire. Although a Harley Davidson Dealer initially balanced your tires, you can not expect silly things like balancing weights to stay in place. Therefore, if you bike suddenly vibrates and wobbles out of control because wheel weights fell off, we, HD are not responsible for whatever happens. HD recomends you have ONLY an HD dealer balance your tire and use "stay fast" wheel weights."

how about this? if the weights have been on there for 5k miles, then there should be a tell tale sign of where they were. if you don't want to rebalance your wheel, then buy some stick on weights, and stick them back on where they were.
