If your daughters are old enough, I watched a show on tv about whistler. It showed some great zip line rides. I have done this in the caribbean and it was great fun.

You won't be dissapointed in Whistler. Make sure to stop at some of the towns along the way like Squamish. Eat some seafood on the water. They don't call it the sea-to-sky for nothing! Have fun!

Stick with the Whistler trip in my mind. If you have time consider going as far north from there as your time allows. Bit of a tourist trap in Whistler, but the scenery is one of a kind. Only other tip I might offer is to be careful as you approach Horseshoe Bay to turn north up the Sea to Sky. Couple of different speed zones that are LEO heavy. Watch that you are working in kilometres per hour.
Have a wonderful family holiday. Your girls are going to love Vancouver. If you get a chance get someone to give you directions to Stevenston out in Richmond. Fish and Chips on the dock, a tradition!

if you want just a day trip, starting at Trev Deeley-
head north up Boundary Rd, turn Right on Hastings,
follow Hastings through the Barnett Hwy, to Port Moody, then East on the Lougheed ('St Johns' in Pt Moody)
Keep going, through to Maple Ridge. then get on to Dewdney Trunk Rd.
Follow to Mission. Then get back on to #7, head east to Agassiz.
There are a few places to stop, eat, have a brew.
Then head back.
PM if you want some directions for another route south of Hwy 1.

Have a great trip
