If you enjoyed highway 276, check out 215. It runs sorta parallel to 276 and it's just a little farther west. Sometimes on our trips to the NC mountains we'll take 276 on the way up and 215 on the way back. Next time we'll reverse them.

Nothing wrong with cruising at 45mph taking all the scenery in. You're more than welcome to run it as fast as you wanted to, barring a speeding ticket or twelve.

Hopefully I'll ride the BRP next month and form my own opinion of it.
I rode the BRP west from Asheville and was awed by the sites, and I've ridden nearly all the eastern ranges, from the New England states to Georgia. Other then the stint from Asheville and the Shannedoha NP, non of it on the BRP. I'd still recomend it in a heartbeat!

We stayed at the Ironhorse a couple years ago. Great place. Nice pics and thanks for sharing.
