If you enjoyed highway 276, check out 215. It runs sorta parallel to 276 and it's just a little farther west. Sometimes on our trips to the NC mountains we'll take 276 on the way up and 215 on the way back. Next time we'll reverse them.

I guess it's the same as me being able to go to NYC whenever I wanted back in the day. Now it's 800miles away and when I go visit, I try to take at least one trip to the city. Heck, I even dealt with the excessive lines to get up to the observation deck at the Empire State Building which I had never done when I lived there. Took it for granted.
Nothing wrong with cruising at 45mph taking all the scenery in. You're more than welcome to run it as fast as you wanted to, barring a speeding ticket or twelve.
Hopefully I'll ride the BRP next month and form my own opinion of it.
