Speed triple is one of my favorite bikes. I looked at a bonny and the scrambler before getting the flht. I wanted something that would get down the highway so went with the hd. I'm probably more of a triumph guy than hd guy but i lack the self control to be on an S3. Flht keeps me from doing stupid things!! Aprilia tuono is another hooligan bike i kinda dig.

Triumph's are cool in my book! I like the Triumph cafe racer types personally.

The Rocket III is really a pretty cool bike. There is a guy, in a group we ride with occassionally, that has one. Aside from the fact that it is e-freakn-nourmous, it's a neat bike. I know it pulls like a train. On a recent ride he led, I was on my Uly and we really had some fun blasting some cruvey roads. He would pull me a bit (not too bad) out of turns and I'd actually begin to catch back up, and then I'd smoke him in the corner(s) and start over again. It really was fun. I wanted to ride it, but never did....

I like Triumphs. Not really the Rocket III but I would buy the Speedmaster if I was looking for a sporty cruiser. In fact in the price and size range I would probably choose that over a Sportster, but for the big bikes Ill stick with Harley.

Four months ago I bought a Triumph America. I loved the look of the bike and the quality was there. Unfortunately it was too light and small for highway cruising for me. I recently bought a Road Glide which is a totally different experience. The Triumph was a great bike for the money but fell short as a tour bike. I looked at the Rocket, but the radiator was huge and not very attractive. I am pleased that I switched to a Harley

I've owned two Triumphs, a 750 Trident and an early '60s vintage Trophy. I would really like to buy a new Scrambler if I could afford it and my '07 Heritage. That Scrambler reminds me of the Trophy of my youth.
