Removing tight flange nut???

Removing tight flange nut???
I went to some independant shop to get some flange nuts for my exhaust, and I put one one. I think it might be a little too small as it is stuck on the stud. When I try to take it off, the entire stud spins. How can I loosen it without removing the stud and getting a new one? The guy at the stealer said a torch. However I don't have one. I am thinking of going to the place I got the stuck nut from and explaining to them with a WTF? afterwards. By the way, the V&H are nice and loud. I think I woke all my neighbors this am. WOO HOO!

RE: Removing tight flange nut???
why did you not use the original flange nuts? Some folks put the steel locking nuts on, is yours a locking nut?

If you can , just get two nuts that will fit the oppisite end.Tighten the two nuts together then remove the oddball nut.If the thread is not damaged you can reuse it.
If the stud had red loctite on it then heat (propane torch)should be use to loosen up the stud.
I asume that this is a threaded stud, correct me if i'm wrong.
